The Criminal Justice Realm (TCJR) is an innovative organization founded by Dr. David Z. Simpson, Author of The Slavery Mindset and recipient of the 2025 Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism.
We promote social justice and human rights with one clear intention to transform the criminal justice system from within and protect those trapped inside it.
Our mission is simple yet urgent: to provide expert consulting, crisis management, and human guidance to individuals and families caught in the crisis that is the U.S. "Justice" System, ensuring they survive it with as little damage as possible.
We are not here to watch the system change, we are here to change it ourselves.
The Reality
The United States Justice System has become a taxpayer-funded business operating under the ruse of justice and rehabilitation. It is driven by financial gain, career advancement, and political preservation.
Roughly one in three U.S. adults , mostly from poor or marginalized communities has been impacted by this system through arrest, conviction, or incarceration.
Millions have been falsely convicted, excessively sentenced, dehumanized, tortured by isolation, denied medical care, and even killed under state control. This is not justice; it is the modern rebranding of slavery, a system that profits from punishment the way its predecessor profited from forced labor.

Our Founder
While incarcerated, David refused to accept a life of despair. He trained under one of the most skilled prison paralegals in the federal system, mastering the administrative remedy process and becoming known for his fearless advocacy.
He saved lives, corrected wrongful sentences, exposed abuse, and fought relentlessly for the humanity of those forgotten.
Upon his release in 2019, he co-founded The Remedy Project, now a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit that unites students and formerly incarcerated advocates to challenge the prison industrial complex.
In 2025, David was honored with the Doctorate in Humanitarianism for his lifelong commitment to justice and authorship of the landmark book The Slavery Mindset.
