Change doesn't happen by waiting for reform, it happens when visionaries build it. The Criminal Justice Realm partners with organizations, law firms, ministries, and reform initiatives ready to create programs that heal instead of harm. From therapy models like our collaboration with Dr. Valeria Saladino, to expanded Innocence Project frameworks, TCJR helps you design, strengthen, and launch projects that redefine justice itself.
Slavery never ended, it evolved. And the only way to end it is to change the mindset that sustains it.
True justice begins where punishment ends and transformation begins.
The Criminal Justice Realm (TCJR) was founded by Dr. David Z. Simpson, Author of The Slavery Mindset and recipient of the 2025 Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism, as a direct response to the ongoing human rights crisis within the U.S. justice system.
Our operations are built upon the knowledge, understanding, lived experience, and strategic expertise Dr. Simpson developed during his 14-year fight for survival inside the system, ten of those years spent in Federal Prison for a crime he did not commit.
After his release, David co-founded The Remedy Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that now stands as one of the most effective student-and-survivor-driven justice reform organizations in the country. The success of The Remedy Project became proof of concept, a living demonstration of what The Criminal Justice Realm can achieve when given the resources and partnerships to act.
Through The Criminal Justice Realm, Dr. Simpson and his team offer tailored consulting services to organizations seeking to design, evaluate, or strengthen programs in the justice reform space.
Our consulting focuses on actionable implementation, bridging visionary ideas with operational reality. We assist in program creation rooted in lived experience and systemic understanding, crisis-informed training for staff and advocates, policy and reform proposals built for impact rather than performance, and strategic campaign development that connects public will with legal reform.
The Criminal Justice Realm (TCJR) has already proven that meaningful reform requires both vision and strategy. We've co-developed a groundbreaking therapy and healing program for formerly incarcerated individuals alongside Dr. Valeria Saladino, merging trauma recovery with the mindset reprogramming framework of The Slavery Mindset.
This initiative helps participants confront the deep psychological conditioning caused by incarceration, rebuild self-worth, and re-enter society from a place of wholeness rather than survival.
We have also designed a comprehensive Innocence Project expansion model originally proposed within The Remedy Project, a plan to strengthen and modernize the traditional Innocence Project structure. This blueprint creates bridges between lawyers, advocates, students, and investigative researchers, establishing a shared platform where legal strategy, public pressure, and storytelling work hand-in-hand to secure justice for the wrongfully convicted.
Rather than waiting years for breakthroughs, this model equips organizations to move faster, more collaboratively, and with far greater visibility for their clients.
Beyond these projects, TCJR holds two additional major initiatives ready for development, programs capable of redefining how we measure justice and rehabilitation in America. We are currently seeking major funding partners and institutional developers to bring these groundbreaking ideas to life.
Each initiative is guided by the same principle: True justice begins where punishment ends and transformation begins.
If your organization, institution, or legal team is ready to create something that truly heals. The Criminal Justice Realm can help you build it.
Together, we can design programs, campaigns, and systems that replace the lie with truth and transform justice from punishment into restoration.
We do not build programs for performance. We build systems of truth, accountability, and healing that dismantle the lie at the root of American punishment culture.
When you partner with The Criminal Justice Realm, you are not hiring a consultant, you are enlisting a strategist, a survivor, and a visionary dedicated to ensuring that every reform effort becomes a seed of transformation.
